Liseberg: Klubbland

An immersive, multi-room tribute to one of Scandinavia’s most iconic artists, created for Liseberg. Hello! led the project from initial concept through to commissioning, delivering a fully integrated experience combining media, scenography and interactive installations.

Håkan Hellström is one of Sweden’s most influential and widely recognised artists, with a uniquely loyal audience spanning generations.
Klubbland was conceived as a physical interpretation of his universe, translating music, identity and fan culture into a spatial, immersive experience.

Hello! was responsible for the overall concept, design and delivery of the attraction, including:
  • Creative direction and concept development
  • Attraction design and spatial layout
  • Content development and storytelling
  • Visual identity and signage
  • Visitor flow and capacity planning
  • Coordination of media, lighting and interactive design
  • Budgeting, scheduling and installation supervision
  • Retail design

The Experience
The attraction unfolds across a series of environments, combining narrative, media and participation:
A 180° animated film introduces visitors to Håkan’s world
  • Early influences are explored through scenography and archival material rooted in Gothenburg’s music culture
  • A lounge-style video installation presents a curated collage of music videos
  • Iconic venues are recreated through concert footage and original artefacts
  • Dedicated zones explore each album through artwork, instruments and behind-the-scenes material
  • Interactive installations invite visitors to sing, produce and engage with the music
  • Fan culture is celebrated through participatory installations and social interaction

Finale
The experience culminates in a large-scale, immersive concert environment inspired by Håkan Hellström’s record-breaking stadium shows in Gothenburg.
Surrounding projections and carefully choreographed lighting recreate the atmosphere of a live performance, placing visitors at the centre of the event.

Visitors exit through a retail space designed as an extension of the overall experience, maintaining the same visual identity and emotional tone.
