Europa Park Volentarium: Preview exhibition
Hello! was commissioned by Europa Park – the 2nd most visited theme park in Europe – to design a preview centre on the park's 'German Main Street'.
The preview center is a permant space, featuring exhibitions of the new attractions coming to the park. Since it is located between shops and F&B outlets, themed to the 'German Main Street' look it was decided to design it as a shop or business that would naturally fit into the street. A bank theme was chosen, complete with tellars and a giant vault door leading to a movie room. The first exhibition was about the 'Volentarium' flying theatre attraction, opening in 2017. A scale model of the building was created, and on graphic panels the story of the development of the attraction, from idea to final drawings, was told. A section was devoted to the art of movie making and in the vault the attraction's trailer was shown. |
