Hello! is an all-round design studio based in Copenhagen, specialising in design and development for attractions. Projects range from theme parks and midway attractions to museums and brand experiences.
The design approach is simple: Be the ambassador of the visitor. Look for solutions that are exploratory and inspirational. Create environments that is both visually appealing and conceptually interesting and able to create an emotional bond with the guest. Mikkel Sonne Attractions industry professional with 25 years of experience. After studying visual communications at the Danish School of Design I opened my first studio, working with design for primarily art exhibitions, theatres and entertainment followed by the position as Head of Design and Development at Tivoli Gardens, Copenhagen. In Tivoli I was responsible for the creative lead of all attraction projects and delivered, among other things, the Tivoli Hotel, the Rasmus Klump Playground, update of the Flying Trunk dark ride and design of Christmas and Halloween seasons. This lead to jobs as a senior designer and project manager at the Dutch design and production company Jora Vision, primarily working for the Chinese market followed by the opening of a studio in Amsterdam. I returned to Wonderful, Wonderful Copenhagen to work as Experience Design Manager at LEGO House, the original Home of the Brick and one of the most successful brand attractions. For more than 4 years I took on a different role as the General Manager of Ripley Entertainment's Copenhagen businesses, responsible for all aspects of the 4 attractions including marketing and budgets. After gaining valuable insights into the daily operation of attractions I turned north, and worked on the development of the World of Volvo experience in Gothenburg, Sweden. I can help with
